Sildenafil (Jeragra) works by helping to increase blood flow into the penis during sexual stimulation and helps people to maintain an erection. Jeragra has the ability to remove the blockages in the arteries of the penis thereby leading to free flow of blood to the sex organ. Sildenafil should be taken only once a day and in most cases 30 min – 2 hours before the sexual intercourse. The usual dosage is 50 mg daily and can be increased to 100 mg or decreased to 25 mg. The main side effects of Jeragra are: diarrhea; dizziness; flushing; headache; heartburn; stuffy nose; upset stomach and allergic reactions like difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue; rash; hives and itching.
